Curry: a shortage of chefs could effect the Anglo-Indian love-in

Anyone see this piece in The Independent about a curry academy in Bradford?

Government policy is making it harder for Asian restaurants to recruit chefs from the subcontinent with the result that there is a shortage of skilled chefs for the 12000 Indian/Pakistani/Bangladeshi outlets in the country.

Bradford’s new International Food Academy has been founded to counter the problem and teach students from all over the world how to cook not just ‘Indian’ food but also Thai and Chinese.

Not that you need to wait for the first students to graduate to taste authentic curry.

All of 5pm’s Indian restaurants can be found here.
