West End Festival launches

Glasgow’s West End Festival gets off with the traditional opening day Mardi Gras parade in Kelvingrove Park on Sunday. Countless bands will be playing and there will be heaps of stalls selling crafts, grub and grog.

Glasgow's West End meets Rio De Janeiro

The blog liked the name of the Samba Ya Bamba band, a name that seemed to neatly sum up the many qualities shared between Brazil and Glasgow.
