It’s not exactly difficult to spot famous faces in Edinburgh over August but we feel that this weekend’s haul of stars seen in restaurants is still pretty good.
We’ve seen Ewan Bremner (Trainspotting, Black Hawk Down and Snatch) at Hotel du Vin’s bistro and the next day veteran comic Arthur Smith was eating in the hotel’s courtyard.
Meanwhile, down on Broughton Street, Kristen Schaal, Mel in Flight of the Conchords, looked as though she was enjoying her lunch at L’Escargot Bleu.
Still not seen Brad Pitt though.
However, hats off to the Metro Cafe in Glasgow who are making the most of the star’s stay in the city.
Apparently, they have brought out a World War Z tribute sandwich made with chorizo, cheddar and salsa. According to a report from Anna Burnside in Scotland On Sunday, it is said to be ‘hot and spicy, just like Brad’.
