The Kama Sutra: hopefully helping Scotland's Indian restaurants to shine in the Curry Capital of the Year award

The teams have been announced for the Curry Capital of the Year award which will be announced on the 1st of November.

In Glasgow, the public voted for the city to be represented by Slum Dog, Neelim, Kama Sutra and Koolba. Glasgow has won the award four times out of eight and hopes to retain the title which it won last year.

Edinburgh is repped by Britannia Spice, Namaste Kathmandu, Mother India Café and Zest.

The capital is very much the underdog compared to Glasgow if past results are anything to go by. Glasgow’s main competition is likely to come from Bradford which has always put up a very strong showing.

Naturally, if you fancy a Ruby then click on the highlighted restaurants above and you’ll be able to see what 5pm deals they are offering.
