Something wicked this way comes

[][1]
It's all about the steak at The Grill Room

As the 5pm blog has noted previously, the world seems to be going steak crazy; a development which we much applaud.

The Grill Room at the Square in Glasgow’s 29 private members’ club is already well known as home of all things big, beautiful and beefy but they are about to turn up the heat on the chargrill.

On Sunday 2nd of October, they will be launching their inaugural ‘Wicked Steak Club Dinner’ event.

Designed to appeal to those who know the difference between a porterhouse and a prime rib, each Wicked Steak Club Dinner will feature a guest steak sourced from a selection of Scotland’s best farms.

The first guest in the hot seat being an 8oz fillet or 10oz sirloin from multi-award winning butchers Cairnhill Farms who rear their herds in the heart of Ayrshire.

Head Chef David Friel said, ‘Our award-winning steakhouse already serves a signature menu of Certified Scotch Beef steaks – all of which are dry-aged and hand cut in the restaurant, but we are looking forward to welcoming our first Wicked Steak Club Dinner guest from Cairnhill Farms, who are experts in their field (boom boom!) and will be talking to our guests about the award winning steak they will be served on the night.’

The Wicked Steak Club Dinner will be an event held quarterly for people who are passionate about beef, and welcomes both members and non- members to attend. The cost of the four course steak adventure is £40 a head.
