Cocktails in the City

Jamie MacDonald of The Raconteur: one of the UK's best bar tenders

There’ll be a whole lot of shaking going on at Mansfield Traquair in Edinburgh this Wednesday night as the Cocktails in the City event starts to mix it up.

Think of it like a food fair but with top notch booze. Mixologists from fourteen of Edinburgh’s most well known cocktail bars will be setting up stalls in the eye-popping surrounds of the former church and demonstrating the skills that keep their customers smiling for glass after glass.

There will be opportunities to make your own cocktails and samplings of flash new products as well as demos from the drinks demons.

Entry is £15 which includes three cocktails. The bars taking part are: 56 North/ Amicus Apple/ Balmoral Bar/ Bond No9/ Bon Vivant/ Hyde Out/ Harvey Nichols Fourth Floor Bar/ Lebowskis/ Oloroso/ Sygn/ The Raconteur/ Tigerlily/ Tonic/ Voodoo Rooms.

The first ice cubes will be hitting the shakers from 5.30pm.
