Piemonte wine lunch at Hotel du Vin

Looking ahead to December, Hotel du Vin in Edinburgh are running one of their fabtastic wine lunches on Saturday 3rd December.

From Gavi Di Gavi to Barbaresco, wines from Italy’s Piemonte region will be coming under the microscope along with three courses of food designed to match the wines by head chef Matt Powell.

Nigel Wilkinson MS from Boutinot and HdV’s Chef Sommelier Sebastiano Ingaliso will be on hand to talk diners through the wines. By the end, you will be pleasantly replete and stuffed with facts about Nebbiolo grapes, Barbera grapes and the lovely wines that they make.

The Edinburgh Hotel du Vin is also hosting a Christmas Market on the evening of Thursday 8th December. There will be Christmas carols, mulled wine, mince pies and hot chocolate along with HdV’s local suppliers selling potential Christmas gifts. Entry is free.
