Yodelling on Stac Polly

[][1]
Stac Polly is adding alps to its Scottish flavours

For some twenty or so years, Edinburgh’s Stac Polly restaurants have specialised in dishes that are as Scottish as the mountain they are named after.

However, there appears to be a slight wind of change in the air although the mountain motif continues. For a short period, the Stac Polly on Dublin Street is running an Alpine lunch menu featuring dishes that have a hint of apres-ski about them.

Think along the lines of starters such as the tartiflette and main courses like the hare casserole served with chestnut mushrooms, winter vegetables, game and thyme jus.
