Edinburgh’s Mithas have been at the winner’s podium again

Congratulations to Mithas. The Leith-based restaurant took down the Best of Edinburgh and the Restaurant of the Year awards at last night’s Scottish Curry Awards.

It’s been quite some week for the fine dining Indian – exactly seven days ago, they scooped the Best Indian Award at the Scottish Restaurant Awards.

Satty and Bobby Singh of Mr Singh’s India celebrated winning the Lifetime Achievement Award while Jiggy Majhu of the Ashoka Group and Ashoka Cook School in Linwood was named Scotland’s Curry Queen.

Other award winners included Punjabi Tadka in East Kilbride, Charcoals in Glasgow city centre and Mother’s India Cafe which was presented with the Best of Glasgow award from Trampy and the Tramp’s Glasgow of Curry blog.

You can see what 5pm deals the winners are running by clicking on the highlighted restaurants.
