Christmas dining in Edinburgh

Edinburgh is a very special city, we all know that, but something particularly magical happens to Scotland’s capital at Christmas time.

Maybe it’s the gothic architecture, the cosy pubs, the snow at the foot of the castle, not to mention all the festive goings on in Princes Street, but it feels like Edinburgh was made for Christmas.

We’ve rounded up the best places in the city to celebrate the festive season. All the restaurants listed below are cosy and warm and have made an incredible effort with their Christmas decorations.

The best news? They all have brilliant 5pm offers.

Peacock Alley

£23 for the caley afternoon tea.

Edinburgh Larder Bistro

The Pantry
