Online Food Travel Summit

Judging by the number of energetic bloggers and supper clubs out there plus the vibrancy of events like the Scran Salons, there are plenty of people in Glasgow and Edinburgh whose interest in food goes way beyond simply scoffing it.

Evelyne White: founder and CEO of peer to peer dining site BookaLokal.com

In an idle moment, say in between their third and fourth Easter egg, many of these people may have pondered if there was a way in which they could carve an alternative career based on their interest in food.

If that sounds like you then you might consider tuning into the Online Food Travel Summit which takes place this weekend.

Run by the World Food Travel Association, the summit will feature a number of webinars on subjects as diverse as peer to peer dining, how to craft a food destination and getting started as a food/drink tour operator.

Each session costs $10 and the videos can be watched live or at a time that suits you.

If the thought of a new career in food whets your appetite then this seminar will help you decide if such a path is to your taste.
